Evolve 97mm Street Wheels

So, this Gen1 Stoke I just purchased marks my TENTH Evolve board. Yep, I'm an addict. Got the 97mm ice orange along with Gold Supercarve 2 trucks to do a "Gold Edition" upgrade to the Stoke.

Not super easy (requires some cutting/fabrication of the motor plates), but an AWESOME upgrade. Besides looking amazing, this upgrade has transformed the Stoke 1 from a darty, nervous, and frankly somewhat-unsafe feeling ride to a planted, stable, and confidence-inspiring ride. Night and day difference - besides looking absolutely awesome.

Wheels are fairly soft and compliant being 76A, grip great, and are big enough to roll comfortably over pavement imperfections. The only wheels I like slightly more are my 105mm Dad Bods. But these are great. And at the sale price I snagged them for, an absolute bargain. Highly recommended.

The quality of material and finish of product is excellent. No issues with chunking or discoloration. Wheels look and feel well balanced.
These wheels are very slide friendly and any kind bump or little pebble in the road will break the wheels’ traction.
That being said. People that are able to control slides will love this wheel. If you are not looking to slide, then I wouldn’t recommend this wheel.

Evolve 97s are VERY underrated. If you are a true street shredder, and u want american made good quality thane wheels that arent too big and not too small, these are a great choice ! Many colors too!

I bought these 97mm evolve wheels to give them a try over the 105mm Orangatang. Dad Bods I had on my kick push Loaded Fathom and I am very impressed. Great value nice and soft and extremely grippy and they look great. They have a nice glow too them . Not super bright but subtle. No chunking easier to push than the larger Dad bods 105mm . More stable . Still great rollover cracks and stones . I can’t give an appraisal on an electric skateboard but for anyone with a standard longboard I highly recommend. Richard

At first I avoided them and got my Hadean with the 107. after a while I saw all the reviews so got set for my DIY gt and those wheels are really really good!
a lot of grip on hard carving, giving smooth ride almost as the 107 but weight much less. Evolve also brought the solution for the most annoying problem, the wheel come out without the pulley so you can replace colors by your mood easy if you buy few sets.

Very good wheels, provide excellent grip and comfort and yes they do glow in the dark.

i hate big chunky wheels, and tiny wheels just aren’t practical. 97mm is the sweet spot. the quality, the looks, and the grip and sliding capabilities are awesome. love alll the colors too. so even if u dont have a evolve board, and u want to use these wheels, i highly suggest them!

I put these on my GT one, upgrading from the standard 83’s. I done this due to the ruff footpaths and horrible gutters around my town. Since changing my time spent on my board is so much more enjoyable. These wheels give me more confidence, comfort and control on the ruff sections I am forced to skate on at times.

These ice blue, 97mm wheels are the best! Combined with the teak gtr deck! It turns heads that’s for sure, highly recommend!!

It turned my board into a surfskate that kicks ass and keeps me stable, 100KG, 1.92m tall, and carving the roads of south africa. Sticking to roads, roadsides, and pavements always where possible,
have driven over berries, tree branches/stalks/ Pine tree branches/flowerlets, I've done 100+KM with these wheels already and my push speeds have INCREASED ! I got another minute off per km I can push, - doing 4min per KM now, and it's still bound to get better!
These wheels add an extra INCH off the floor, so the lower your board is the better. I have a Santa Cruz drop deck , standard trucks, Bronsons Speed Co G3 bearings, and these sick wheels.
Read reviews that they have bubbles, and can confirm, one of my 4 wheels had some bubbles in the inside. I rode them facing both directions to ride them in, and steadily average 10-12KM rides whenever i go :)
It's stable on declines. I am newb to braking, so I try not to bomb insane hills. But I have a 2km decline near home :D get up to 25km/h with these wheels on a wind-blessed night> Just yesterday i could not

i have many wheels, and evolve 97mm are a GREAT medium of a wheel. not too big, not too small. can slide em when i want, and can hold the grip in a carve when i want. great colors too..

we think 97s are perfect size. not too big, not too small. the actual feeling and a ride of these arent too hard, and not to soft. which means you can also utilize them on bigger boards or smaller boards. loveeee evolve 97s
