ABOUT THE BOARD

Evolve Fusion

Born from Icons. Built for Everything.

Introducing the Fusion, a groundbreaking electric skateboard where the DNA of Evolve’s most iconic models converge. Crafted from the best of the Diablo, GTR, and Hadean series, the Fusion is the perfect balance of power, precision, and portability. Every element has been reimagined, refined, and fused to create the most versatile board in the Evolve lineup.

Power Meets Performance

At its core, the Fusion runs on a high-efficiency 12S 3P battery (648Wh) paired with the all-new EFOC 2.0 motor controller, delivering seamless acceleration, enhanced thermal management, and a ride that’s as responsive as it is exhilarating. The Fusion Street Board has a top speed of 42 km/h, with a max range of up to 40 km, and hill-climbing torque that laughs in the face of steep grades.

Decked Out in Style

Aesthetics meet engineering in the Fusion’s premium bamboo deck, a compact, lightweight design with a rich, natural finish and precision laser-etched detailing. The deck isn’t just stunning, it’s versatile too. Riders can choose between two battery configurations: the 12S 3P (648Wh) for maximum range, or the 12S 2P (432Wh) for a lighter, more agile setup, tailored to how you ride.

Compact. Capable. Clean.

Weighing in at just 12.5 kg, the Fusion proves that high performance doesn’t have to be heavy. With its streamlined profile and compact footprint, it’s easy to carry, store, and ride, without compromising on specs or strength.

Custom Gold Standard

Every Fusion rolls out with a premium setup straight from the box. You get Evolve’s signature Gold SuperCarve 2.0 trucks, designed for ultimate stability and control at speed. Paired with tanwall all-terrain tyres and gold precision bearings, this board doesn’t just ride smooth, it looks the part too. It’s our cleanest factory build yet, with style and substance in every detail.

Everything You Need, Nothing You Don’t

  • Dual high-torque motors for effortless acceleration
  • Evolve’s smart remote for buttery-smooth control and deep customisation
  • Also available in Street and 2in1 configurations.
  • Durable, responsive, and ready to ride out of the box

From your daily commute to weekend carves, Fusion ticks every box. It’s powerful, lightweight, stunning to look at, and above all, built to ride. Whether you're a seasoned rider or just stepping into the world of electric skateboarding, the Fusion is the only board you'll ever need.

NOTE – Please reach out to us if you are looking for a 12S2P battery option for your Fusion.

FUSION FAQs

Why should I buy the Fusion over the Diablo Bamboo?
If you don’t need the raw range or power of the Diablo, the Fusion is lighter, more portable, and easier to handle. More nimble, more cost-effective. Still plenty of punch.
How does the Fusion compare to the Hadean in power and feel?
Fusion’s got a bit more snap thanks to the EFOC 2.0 and Samsung 50S battery. You’ll feel that extra torque and braking responsiveness.
Is the Fusion an upgrade from the Bamboo GTR?
Yes. It’s faster, goes further, rides smoother, and looks sharper. SuperCarve 2 trucks, built-in lights, better battery tech, and the latest motor controller.
Can I use a 12S2P battery on the Fusion?
Yes. Makes the board even lighter, but range will drop.
Can I swap in higher-wattage motors?
No. The motor controller is tuned to the current spec. Swapping would break the setup.
Can I use the Fusion battery on my Diablo?
Yes, but only if you also use the Diablo motor controller. The controller must match the motor.
Can I put Diablo motors on the Fusion?
Yes, but you’ll need the EFOC 2.0 3500 motor controller from the Diablo.
Can I install Fusion electronics on my GTR deck?
No.
Is the Fusion good for heavier riders?
Yes. Rated up to 120kg (265lbs).
Is Fusion good for beginners?
Absolutely. Smooth enough to learn on, strong enough to grow into. Customise power and speed through the Explore app.
Is the Fusion built for long rides?
Yes. Up to 40km (25mi) on AT, 60km (37mi) on street. Plenty for group rides.
What’s the difference between the Fusion and Diablo?
Fusion has less range, speed, and acceleration. Different deck. Still a serious board, just not as extreme.
Does the Fusion use the same motor controller as the Diablo?
No. Each is tuned specifically for its motor setup.

Gorgeous, High Performance, Perfect Size

So briefly: this is my NINTH Evolve board purchase since 2016. So yeah, you could say I'm a big fan of the brand. Evolve is certainly the Porsche of the electric skateboard world - not just performance, but exquisite build quality as well as a premium customer experience. BTW reminds me, I've worked multiple times with Evolve USA and EU service. They are great.

Nothing to add about this board that hasn't been covered in several good YT videos. It's gorgeous. The laser etching, the anodized gold trucks & gold bearings combined with the tanwall tires - looks fantastic. Power and range with the 12S3P 50S pack are more than adequate, giving 40km on AT tires - the same as the Lishen 12S3P pack of the Hadean provided.

Its compact size and relatively light weight (7lb lighter than the Diablo Bamboo AT) make it perfect for taking on trips, or if you have to carry your board up multiple flights of stairs.

See my YT channel (CoolWatts) for some upcoming vids with this board, as well as my DIY Hadean to Diablo Bamboo Gold kind-of upgrade.

Nice

Fusion in my opinion, OK I am 72 years old and and got the carbon fiber (2) actually in 2019. I got the Hadean a couple of years ago. So seven years of tearing these boards up. I try to ride every day as much as I can. I absolutely love it. My GTR are still charging up to 100% amazing. I love all my boards and can not say a bad thing about them. 7 years of fun... Love you evolve. Oh and I have got a few people to buy evolve... 👍

Great fun electric board

Really amazing eboard & is great cross training for snowboarding for me. Nice off road capability. This is my second eboard with my first being a bustin boards on road board called a “yo face”. This fusion board is really taking it to the next level because its battery life is better and more fun with off road possibilities.

This board is fantastic, super fun to ride, the double kingpin trucks make carving super fun. Doesn’t skip a beat carrying a 100kg rider up hills or braking. I do suggest getting the evolve upgraded bushings for your weight as I found the stock ones a little to loose for my riding.

Upgrade from the GTR!

Lots of thought went into this upgrade purchase. Tested the Diablo bamboo and carbon along with the Renegade. Then Evolve gave me an opportunity to test the Fusion back to back with the Diablo and my decision changed and order was made! If you like to carve, this is the board. For pure power Diablo was the call, but the Fusion feels so natural to me and only dials the power back a notch - hills and grass etc are no problem.
Rate it big time!

Best thing I have bought in ever! I’m 52 years old and thought I had lost to skating, but this has me back to my younger days

Butter in a Board

This thing is soo nice. Simple but just right. The AT Wheels are fantastic, and the Supergrip 97s are also lovely with this board. Its an attractive, light and all around great board for everyday commuting.

Fantastic all around cruiser

I love my evolve fusion. My biggest priority was fun and ride feel above max range or top speed, and the fusion nails it perfectly. The flexy bamboo deck is very comfortable, which helps to reduce foot fatigue on those longer rides. The supercarve trucks are known to be very responsive and dynamic and I really enjoy the carving and the ability to maneuver into sidewalks with ease when I need to. I've ridden it 20 miles on all terrains with battery life left, which is great. I've also swapped to 135mm cloudwheels explorers and got 30 miles out of those with 10 percent battery left. I think it's the perfect casual cruiser or commuter and the best 2 in 1 in it's class.

Fusion

Hey guys, thinking of updating your old GTR , that’s what I did, for me it wasn’t about top end speed even tho the Fusion is good for 42klm/hr…. It is all about the carve , but it’s how smooth the throttle and braking control is, the power up lift over the GTR is a nice addition, but the smooth control is so so good 👌 definitely recommend the Fusion 🤙

Words will never suffice

Let me preface by saying I rarely write reviews, but I’m so impressed with the Fusion (and Evolve in general), that I just had to. I’ve had several boards… first, it was Boosted… a Linky… Propel … and several Evolves: GTR, stoke, renegade. This Fusion is 10’s across the board. I’m blown away with performance, weight, appearance. The board is really just stunning. Fusion is now the board all others should be judged against… IMO.

Fusion Review

As a 53-year-old taking up the sport for the first time, I cannot judge this board against others, but I am happy to give the board 5 stars for the quality of the package presentation, instructions, and overall quality. I feel there is a significant learning curve to mastering the board and cannot wait for summer to truly sink my teeth into it!

Smoooooov!!!!

I got this for the wife to replace her Bamboo GT, and the first words that came out of her mouth was...
"WOW THAT IS SMOOTH!"
This borad rides like a dream, the new speed controller and upgraded trucks make this board feel completely different than the GT, when I say different I mean better. No to mention way ligher than my Diablo, which is a big plus for the wife when she needs to hang it on the wall at home or load it on the back of the car.

Awesome Board!

I waited a few months to write this, so I could give an honest appraisal. As of now, I've put about 700 miles on the Fusion.

Fair warning - the only other electric skateboard I've ridden is a Boosted V2 Dual+ that I rode for a few thousand miles over a period of about 6 or 7 years.

Coming from the Boosted board, there were a few areas where I think the Fusion was slightly worse.

1. The controller (though it's growing on me) - I do like that I can customize it, but the trigger + thumb brake felt clumsier than the wheel on the Boosted remote.
2. The deck and ride feel - The Boosted board felt much closer to a normal skateboard, but I would grant that a large part of that is down to the battery weight and the ability to use a thinner deck than the Fusion has.

Also, the Boosted had a simpler design, which meant less could go wrong. Not that the Fusion has really had major problems, but my remote will sometimes reset to defaults (about once a week). It's not a huge deal, but it's annoying having to go back and adjust everything for seemingly no reason.

The only other downside is that the power availability is heavily tied to battery life. If I have 100% battery, the board can hit 32MPH with street wheels and about 27 on the AT wheels. For every 15% drop in battery, expect the top speed to drop by 1MPH. It's not as linear as that, but it's a pretty good rule of thumb. I should also note that braking power and acceleration also reduce in a similar way. None of this is terrible. Even under 30%, the top speed on street wheels is still around 25MPH, which is fast enough for most things, but it does affect my ability to keep up with traffic.

While that probably feels like a lot of negative stuff, the board is a DRAMATIC improvement over the Boosted board I have in general. Being able to keep up with cars in most parts of my town is a lifesaver because it means I can stay away from the bike lanes and sides of the road, which are always full of debris.

The speed is great. Acceleration in Corsa took some adjustment on my part. For the first few days, I thought I'd only ever ride in Sport, but that quickly changed. I only ride in Corsa unless the ground has severely limited traction, as I've gotten the board to break loose too many times in the wet.

Being able to customize stuff on the remote is also nice. It was a surprise to get the board and have it limited to 12MPH, but I get why that has to be the default. It was easy to change in the remote's UI, along with a few other things like turning off the deadman switch.

I know Evolve promotes the AT wheels more than anything else, but I think the street wheels are better 99% of the time. They feel more like a real skateboard. Turning is much sharper and more confidence inspiring. The ride is more lively (that's at least a plus for me). The AT wheels do have a place. Naturally, they're the only way to go off road. While using them kind of stops me from riding at the same speed as cars, they are so smooth that I can ride over any rocks, sticks, etc on the side of the road without even feeling them. They do not really remind me of snowboarding. The AT wheels have a very dead feeling on pavement. On gravel, it's kind of a mixed bag. In general, you do get the loose feeling of a rockered snowboard, but it's less predictable than snowboarding. The more rutted/bumpy the ground, the harder it gets to stay planted in a meaningful way. If I was spending most of my time off road, I'd probably get the Renegade, just for the bindings. My son rides a Super73, and, even though my board is faster, I have a hard time keeping up with him on loose gravel, where the Fusion struggles to put down real power.

The range of the board is great. I only charge mine every few days, which is so nice after the range anxiety I had on the Boosted board. I ride it 4 or 5 miles every morning, and that usually eats up 20ish percent per trip, so I'm comfortable leaving the house with low charge levels. Recharging does take a long time, but it hasn't been an issue for me. I guess if I had to commute 20 miles each way on it, I'd probably have a different opinion, but I imagine the charge time suits all but a few of the people who are going to buy this.

If I had to do it again, I'm not sure if I'd buy the Fusion or the Diablo. I went over that question a lot before I bought this, and in some ways I probably do regret not buying the slightly more powerful board, if only for the higher top speed on the AT wheels. That's probably the only reason. I'm not sure it would've been worth the extra money to get the Diablo, but emotion vs logic is a tough battle. In a lot of ways, I actually think I might have preferred the Stoke for the majority of my riding. The weight of the Fusion is substantial, and carrying it into stores is kind of a pain. Though, I'm pretty sure I would have broken many things trying to ollie the Stoke.

Something nice to have would've been a handle. Mall grabbing a 25lb battle axe is...

It's fantastic! Just buy it!

I was on the fence about buying an eskate for a couple of years. Thinking it's expensive, will I use it, it dangerous etc. All I can say it if you've been thinking about getting one for a while - just get one. You can always sell it if you work out it's not for you. If you don't get one , you'll never know if it was for you or not.

For me, I'm absolutely loving this board! I've ridden it pretty much every fine day since I've had it, took about about a week to get comfortable with it. I've still got the board limited to 20kph, this keeps things a lot safer for a new rider. I've got a snowboarding background but never skateboarded. Carving on this board is similar to snowboard and brings a smile to my face.

I live on a pretty steep hill and the Fusion has no issues with getting me at 90kg up it. It's super fun flying up hills, actually way more fun than an ebike. I like the fact that there is a learning curve and that eskating is something that you can progress into.

Everything about the Fusion is high quality.
Delivery in New Zealand took 3 days. Ordered it Sunday night, had it Wednesday which is awesome.

Best of everything.

Have the GTR Carbon series 1 so wasn’t sure I needed another board but really happy with the purchase. The Fusion is a great looking board. Good enough to hang on my wall:) The finish and quality of build stand out. Love the chunky 6000W motors, means I have all the range of power in ECO that my Carbon had from ECO to the end of SPORT so I can leave it in ECO all day. Perfect for cruising and climes all the hills with ease. I don’t use sport at all or CORSA for that matter. The chucks are wider than my Carbon 1 so it’s super sure footed. More than I’ll ever need out of a board. Legit keeper.
